Groundhog (Woodchuck)
Opossum
Armadillo
We use both live traps and controllers to remove nuisance and damage causing wildlife. Depending on the situation and animal a controller or trap may be used to either exclude the animal from re-entry or trapped and removed from the property. Once an animal has breached your home it is highly likely that it would attempt to enter again. A proper repair, not a temporary patch, is required to ensure the animal does does not get in the same place again. We provide guaranteed exclusion and repair services to keep the wildlife out where it belongs.
I have encountered many instances where a groundhog (woodchuck) has dug under the foundation of a home or outbuilding leaving abcesses that need to be filled in and sealed up after the animal is captured and removed. If this isn't done then other animals, such as skunks, will likely move in. Likewise, an armadillo, which will dig a hole like a groundhog and root around in the lawn causing a tremendous amount of damage, is generally trapped in a different manner. Some animals have "new object aversion" and stay away from something that doesn't belong in their territory and others require certain traps and lures to avoid non target captures. Some animals are only active during the day and others at night and some animals struggle to get out of the trap while others simply fall asleep.
Please bear in mind that wildlife is susceptible to a variety of diseases and parasites as well as rabies and distemper. Some of these diseases and viruses can affect humans so precautions have to be taken during the capture, transport and disposition of the animal. The right equipment and skill set are needed to do this properly and safely.
Controller (Controls access)
A groundhog had breached this access door and was digging at the foundation. After the groundhog AND a raccoon were captured a controller was installed just in case there were other animals residing under the deck - namely skunks. This new reinforced access door was installed to keep other animals out.

DEAD ANIMAL REMOVAL
There are times that animals enter, or attempt to enter, your home and get stuck and die. As the animal decomposes the odor and the ensuing pulpy mess can be overwhelming. This is another reason that exclusion and repair work is important and needs to be done after the animal capture or carcass removal.
I removed these remains of a raccoon that had got stuck and died creating a VERY nasty odor throughout the building.
